Through FISH’s Helping Hands programs, we provide crisis support and planning for our island communities.

Emergency Financial Assistance

Our FISH team can help cover essential costs (rent, utilities, medical, etc.) and help develop a plan to become financially stable.

Hurricane Long-Term Recovery

If you are in a housing crisis due to hurricanes like Ian, our Long-Term Recovery program may be able to help cover home repairs, temporary housing and other primary-home needs.

– VITA free tax preparation (via United Way)

Resiliency Hub

In partnership with United Way, our Resiliency Hub is a one-stop local shop for social services you need when you need them—including relief assistance after a disaster. Our Hub is also designated a Safe Place under Lutheran Services Florida’s Children in Need of Services/Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS) program.
